It was Phil Kamieniecki's last day of work yesterday as he retired.  He chose to spend the very first day of his retirement out fishing with us.  The pressure was really on as the last time Phil was out with us in the fall we caught over 80 bass in one day!  So since then Phil has been calling me 'Striper God'.  Well I knew we couldn't top that trip.  We tried hard for Phil and his friends, but today was just not the day.  This was the first trip of the year we skunked out.  We trolled hard for miles and miles marking bait and fish all day long.  They just didnt want to chew today.

All guys still had a great time and agreed a bad day fishing really is much much better than a good day at work.  Here is a picture of Phil on his first day of retirement with us.  Congratulations Phil!  Capt. John
