Out yesterday with Stan Snyder, his dad and some friends from work.  They wanted "action" so I decided our best bet would be bluefishing.  I headed the boat where I knew there was fish all week.  It was a long haul to go 29 miles for bluefish, but it was worth the ride!  We had non-stop action all day with 6  to 8 LB Blues!   Mostly hitting fresh bunker we caught on the way out.  Upon setting up our chum slick we had them boiling and slashing through the slick within minutes just a few feet from the boat.  What a site!  After a while the boys "Had enough" and we tried some bottom fishing but with no success as the wind started howling. 
For those of you who are looking for tuna or sharks, cal me !  Now is the time.  The canyons are full of yellowfins and big eyes. Capt. John
